I have gone a long way from a job I didn’t like, through a years-long search for myself, to starting my own business and later finding a hobby that became my calling.

Nice to meet you

Hi, I’m Ruslan Kositsyn. I am Ukrainian and since 2013 I’ve been living in Wroclaw, Poland. I am married to a wonderful woman Anna. We are both cat people. We have two cats, Melisa and Mokka, who were adopted by us from a shelter.

  • For 6 years I worked as a freight forwarder and logistics specialist in a large transportation company. Almost all the time I felt out of place, like I was supposed to be doing something else.
  • In the early spring of 2020, I started Wagner Planters, my first business selling galvanized steel flower pots. I left my corporate job in September 2022, and until then I had combined it with my own business. That period drained a lot of energy out of me. That’s when I actively started thinking about finding my passion, my purpose, and the life design in general.
  • I love Wagner Planters and I have been running it till today. But I never felt it was my calling. In 2023, I created my first tracker in Excel, which was a goal planner. I quickly realized I had found a hobby that turned into a passion, and later that year, into 52 Productive. I started with an Etsy shop. At the end of 2024 I launched my own website 🙂

Few facts about me:

My favorite kind of sport is football (soccer). I used to play in amateur leagues quite a lot.

I am fluent in 4 languages: Ukrainian, English, Polish and Russian. I also speak a little bit of German.

My favorite movie is Lord of the Rings. Watched it 137 times 🙂

I am a morning person and I wake up at 5 am 5-6 times a week. Don’t be surprised if I tell you that my favorite self-development book is The 5 AM Club by Robin Sharma.

I love hiking in the mountains. When I get there, I feel like I’m plugged in.

Travelling is another passion of mine. At every convenient opportunity, I try to go as far as possible to see our beautiful world.
